We're really happy to announce a new release: this time we're teaming up with Run With The Hunted, a socially and politically charged hardcore band from Phoenix, Arizona. Born in late 2006 from the ashes of other projects, RWTH members decided to create something honest, sincere and, above all else, passionate. Their sound is personal and distinct without fitting any certain preset: drawing influences from a wide range of bands like Indecision, The Hope Conspiracy, Trial, Shai Hulud and The Suicide File, Run with the Hunted seeks to carry forward the flame of intensity and integrity of its predecessors while bringing its own sense of innovation and originality.
After two albums released in the USA, RWTH are ready to bring their proposal to Europe with "Everything Familiar": a nine song album which comprises all the material recorded by the band so far, including the four tracks who appeared on the limited 1-sided 12inch "Destroy All Calendars" on Glory Kid Records. While the newer material clearly shows an evolution in the songwriting, the approach chosen by the band hasn't mutated: mid tempo hardcore, with lots of melodies, breakdowns, and vocals ranging from screams, to spoken vocal parts, to sing alongs.
Though drawing blood from band members' personal experiences, lyrics desperately manifest the band's angst towards modern life in this destructive civilization and the frustrations that it causes, not forgetting their struggle in bringing back radical politics and ideas within a counter-culture that was once a potent threat to mainstream society and oppressive system.

The album will be out on May 20th and will be available on their one-month tour through USA/Canada/Mexico that the band is doing with Anchor. Check out their myspace for the dates.

Refoundation is beginning 2009 with a new exciting release! This time it is the turn of the italian combo THE GUILT SHOW: born from the ashes of well-known italian hardcore outfits of the past such as Summer League and Ivory Cage and featuring former members of The Secret, THE GUILT SHOW was formed in Bologna, Italy during the spring of 2006 with the idea of delivering a good blend of heavy hardcore, taking inspiration from bands from both the past and the modern age: their music can be described as an energetic mix between the mid tempo parts of AMERICAN NIGHTMARE, UNBROKEN, CRO-MAGS. The focus is still on writing the fastest, most uncompromising and groundbreaking songs ever possible. It's all about hardcore in its purest form, with a no-frills attitude, made by veterans of the scene.

BEFORE THEY KNOW WE'RE ALL DEAD consists of 10 tracks: 6 brand new songs recorded in july 2008 and 4 songs who already appeared on their 7" debut "Those who do wrong deserve to be blamed" on Defiant Hearts rec.
The lyrics of the songs written by the band deal with some issues that the hardcore scene seems to have forgotten about nowadays, such as politics and animal rights: this is an album full of anger and disappointment towards society and its horrors like animal exploitation and Israeli occupation in Palestine but also towards a hardcore scene which is more and more apathetic and cares only about trends.

Their idea towards the current hardcore scene is clear: "We're sick and tired of your trendy haircuts, sick of your fashionable tattoos, sick of your bullshit lyrics, sick of YOU. the only thing we care about is playing hardcore as it should be played. period. and by the way, go veg(etari)an!"



We are really stoked to announce the release of Confronto's third full length "SANCTUARIUM" on vinyl format. After numerous presses of their previous albums, "The Insurrection" and "Causa Mortis", this amazing brazilian vegan straightedge band strikes back with a new album, their first one getting a vinyl release, and a new european tour to promote it.
Expect 10 new powerful tracks against the horrors of capitalism sounding like the perfect mix between OBITUARY, EARTH CRISIS & POINT OF NO RETURN.

1) Refoundation Records is glad to announce a new upcoming release: DEAD VOWS debut full length, titled "BAD BLOOD" will be out on 25th July. DEAD VOWS is a brand new band from Sweden featuring members from THE SMACKDOWN, ANCHOR, SEVEN FEET FOUR, 8 DAYS OF NOTHING AND REPOMAN.

"DEAD VOWS: Two words giving four individuals a chance to collectively deal with their demons, their pains of modern life and their fear of death. This band is their effort, their search for meaning, inspiration and an honest and energetic expression."

"BAD BLOOD", the band's debut full length manifests determination and hunger, curiousity and urgency throughout all of the 11 songs. This piece of plastic, paper and punkrock passion sounds like THE SWARM blended with REFUSED and RISE & FALL.

2) We're really happy to announce our 7th release: another full length, this time from italian band THE GUILT SHOW.
After more than a year playing all over Italy and some shows around Europe, this italian outfit featuring ex members of SUMMER LEAGUE, THE SECRET, NOTONEWORD and IVORY CAGE is ready to release new material.
This album will consist of 10 tracks: 6 new songs and 4 who were already featured in their debut 7" "Those Who Do Wrong Deserve To Be Blamed" released by Defiant Hearts records.

Fast and melodic punk rock in the vein of Propagandhi/Satanic Surfers for the first, and melodic hardcore/metal for the latter while both bands share passion and anger toward the system. We have few copies available, so get yours fast!

4) Until the end of the summer you can buy both our first two releases ("End Of A Season / Many Men Have Tried - Split" and Anchor - Captivity Songs") for only 10 euro, while the single price of each release has been lowered from 8 to 6 euro.

THE END OF SIX THOUSAND YEARS – Isolation 12"/LP out now!

THE END OF SIX THOUSAND YEARS's debut full length, titled ISOLATION has been released at the end of february. This 12" vinyl is available in 500 copies (150 on clear blue vinyl and 350 on black) at the cost of 10 euro (plus shipping). This release also feature a different artwork from the CD edition (released by Still Life Records).
Expect a totally renewed sound in comparison to their previous split album withi Embrace The End. Isolation consists of 10 tracks of death/black metal heavily influenced by post-hardcore sonorities, furious techical parts and slow and atmospheric tracks. Consider a mix between The Black Dalia Murder, Isis e Mastodon and you still can't match the incredible album offered by TEOSTY.

ALONE – Kiss Dreams Goodbye 7" - finally available!

Originally supposed to be out in January, Alone's new seven inch, "KISS DREAMS GOODBYE" has been available only at the end of February due to some printing problems. Pre-orders have already been shipped, and we still have a few copies of the limited edition (100 copies have been printed on red vinyl, while 400 on black).
The new songs are more melodic, neat and elegant than their previous stuff while their formula is still the same: old school hardcore influenced by older acts like Turning Point / Inside Out / Unbroken and newer ones like Verse / Sinking Ships / Stay Gold.
ALONE have just completed a successful european tour with Broken Distance (Portugal, old school hc. Ex-Pointing Finger), and are already looking for new shows and new tours.

Our distro has grown up in the past months: please check our website for an updated list of the titles we carry: we carry records from the best european labels and new stuff gets added weekly. We are official distributors for Catalyst Records (www.xcatalystx.com) and for Panic Records (www.panicrecords.net) which recently released the Trial Retrospective DVD. Alone have just finished the recordings for the upcoming 7" named "Kiss Dreams Goodbye". Tino Paratore has done a really good work at Cerchio Perfetto Studio in Turin.
Expect 4 songs + intro of passionate modern melodic old school hardcore in the vein of Inside Out / The Get Up Kids / Verse / Turning Point / Unbroken.
It will sound more melodic and processed than their previous tracks, but still intense and sincere.
A brand new song will be put soon on Alone & Refoundation myspace profiles.
Pre-order will be up at the beginning of next week; it will come in a limited edition and it will cost 4 euros.

MANY MEN HAVE TRIED is a 5 pieces band from Wien started on 2003 with ex and current members of Nothing Gold Can Stay and AnchorsxUp. They are at their first “official” release after a sold out demo in 2005. MMHT play in a really own and passionate way an aggressive, melodic and refined hc strongly influenced by bands such as SHAI HULUD and UNBROKEN. They present here 3 tracks plus a nice cover song of Police.

END OF A SEASON is a really underrated reality from northern Italy. Five guys with a great taste for intense, intelligent and powerful music. This is their first official release too. Grown up with “bread and Poison The Well”, they are releasing their most mature result in these 3 tracks demostrating to be at the same level of bands such as 7 ANGELS 7 PLAGUES, early POISON THE WELL, MISERY SIGNALS, early HOPESFALL.
Their metalcore/hardcore formula is distinguished by strong and deep vocals, melodic and elegant guitar riffs, without forgiving some amusing mosh and chugga parts.
